Tahini Dressing

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste Or 1 clove of garlic
  • 3–5 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  • Add tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt and cumin to a small bowl.
  • Slowly add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, stirring well until the sauce becomes silky and smooth. Keep going until it’s as thick or pourable as you like.
  • Taste and adjust—more lemon for tang, or more water for a more runny consistency.
  • Use as a dip for falafel, drizzle over Hawawshi, roasted veggies, or grain bowls or spread inside wraps or sandwiches!
