Creamy, nutty, and bursting with bright lemon-garlic flavour, this easy Tahini Dressing comes together in minutes and goes with everything—from grain bowls and roasted veggies to falafel and pita sandwiches. Naturally vegan and endlessly versatile, it’s a kitchen staple you’ll reach for again and again! It’s creamy, zesty, nutty, and ridiculously easy to make with just a few pantry staples.

Ingredients
- 🌿 Tahini (Sesame Paste)– Tahini is made from ground sesame seeds and is the base of this dressing. It’s rich, nutty, and super creamy when mixed with water and lemon juice. Brands from Middle Eastern supermarkets tend to be better quality Tip: Stir well before using—it often separates in the jar.

- 🍋 Lemon Juice– Fresh lemon juice adds brightness and tang, balancing out the richness of the tahini. Freshly squeezed is best for flavour—bottled lemon juice can taste overly acidic.
- 🧄 Garlic paste– I used fresh garlic paste in this recipe but you can also use one garlic clove.
- 💧 Cold Water– Water is essential to emulsify the tahini into a creamy dressing.
Water should be cold because helps keep the dressing from separating and creates a fluffier texture. Add it slowly to control consistency—from thick dip to thin drizzle. - 🧂 Salt-A pinch of salt brings out the nutty, tangy flavours and rounds everything out.
- 🌶️ Cumin– Adds a warm, earthy undertone that pairs beautifully with tahini and Middle Eastern dishes. A pinch of paprika can also be used.
